Three to five is the age of why. Preschool at Wise Owl is built around that: children choose between real activities, work at them long enough to finish, and talk about what they made afterwards. Letters, numbers and writing arrive inside that work rather than as worksheets.
We are a play-based program, which does not mean unstructured. The day has a reliable shape, every activity has a purpose a teacher can explain to you, and the classroom is arranged so a child can get what they need without an adult fetching it.

The shape of the day
We are open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Arrival and quiet play, a morning meeting, outside time, lunch, rest and an afternoon project — that is the shape of every day in this room, and the exact times shift with the age group.
We deliberately run tours while children are in the classrooms, so the fastest way to see the day is to come and watch twenty minutes of one.

Is Wise Owl a preschool or a daycare?
Both, under one license and one roof. Wise Owl Academy is a New Hampshire licensed child care center offering infant and toddler daycare, early preschool, preschool, Pre-K, after-school care and summer camp for children 2 months to 13 years.
Do you offer a half-day preschool option?
Yes. Full-day and half-day schedules are available 2, 3 or 5 days a week.
What is your curriculum?
Play-based, with early literacy and numeracy built into daily activities rather than taught from worksheets. Ask to see a week's plan on your tour.
Come and see preschool
Tours run Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM and take about 30 minutes. You will see this room while children are in it, and leave with a printed tuition sheet and the current openings for 3 – 5 years.
