Early preschool is the year a toddler becomes a classmate. They start to share, to line up, to put their own coat on, and to have opinions about who they sit next to. It is also, for most families, the year of toilet learning, and we do that at the child's pace and in step with whatever you are doing at home.
The room is set up for two-year-olds specifically: low shelves they can reach without asking, a routine that repeats every day so it becomes predictable, and enough time built into every transition that nobody is hurried.

A day in this room
The shape of the day
We are open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Arrival and quiet play, a morning meeting, outside time, lunch, rest and an afternoon project — that is the shape of every day in this room, and the exact times shift with the age group.
We deliberately run tours while children are in the classrooms, so the fastest way to see the day is to come and watch twenty minutes of one.

Early preschool — questions parents ask
Does my child need to be toilet trained to start?
No. Toilet learning happens during the early preschool year and we work at your child's pace, in step with what you are doing at home.
What is the difference between early preschool and preschool?
Early preschool is for 2 to 3 year olds and is the year a toddler learns a classroom routine. Preschool is for 3 to 5 year olds and adds early literacy, numbers and longer group activities.
Can we do three days a week?
Yes. Full-day and half-day schedules are available 2, 3 or 5 days a week.
Come and see early preschool
Tours run Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM and take about 30 minutes. You will see this room while children are in it, and leave with a printed tuition sheet and the current openings for 2 – 3 years.
