Leaving a baby with someone else for the first time is the hardest thing a parent does, and no website makes it easy. What we can do is tell you exactly what happens here before you arrive: which room your child would be in, who would be holding them, what the day looks like, and what it costs.
Wise Owl Academy has been licensed by the State of New Hampshire and family-run on Merrit Parkway since 1982. We take children from 2 months, and they move up through four age-grouped rooms rather than one large one, so a crawler is not sharing a floor with a child who has just started to run.

Children move up with their own age group as they are ready, rather than on a fixed date. It is the difference between four rooms and one room with a very wide age range in it.

State assistance accepted
We accept NH State Child Care Assistance, and there is a 5% sibling discount. Most centers near us do not advertise either.

New Hampshire sets these by age. They are one of the few numbers you can compare directly between centers, so we publish ours instead of describing them as low.

A day in this room
The shape of the day
We are open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Arrival and quiet play, a morning meeting, outside time, lunch, rest and an afternoon project — that is the shape of every day in this room, and the exact times shift with the age group.
We deliberately run tours while children are in the classrooms, so the fastest way to see the day is to come and watch twenty minutes of one.

Infant & toddler daycare — questions parents ask
How young do you take babies?
From 2 months. Wise Owl Academy is licensed for children from 2 months through 13 years, and infants are grouped in their own room with children 2 to 11 months old.
Can I come inside the building?
Yes. Parents are welcome inside for drop-off, pickup and tours. If you would like to observe your child's classroom, just let the office know a day ahead.
Do you offer part-time infant care?
Yes. We offer full-day and half-day schedules, 2, 3 or 5 days a week, in every room including the infant room.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Come and see the infant and toddler rooms
Tours run Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM and take about 30 minutes. You will see this room while children are in it, and leave with a printed tuition sheet and the current openings for 2 months – 3 years.
